Privacy

Short version: your reports are public only as anonymous regional numbers. Your name and email are never shown.

What’s public

Published numbers are medians of several farmers’ reports, shown by county, region or province only once at least 3 different people have reported. Individual reports are never listed with an account. If you opt in to the leaderboard, your chosen nickname, contributor level and number of verified reports are shown. Nothing else.

What we store

Guest custom-rate posts: the rate, job, county or RM, year, optional notes, and a one-way scrambled code made from your internet address (the address itself is never stored), used to stop spam.

Accounts: your email address; if you sign in with Google, Microsoft or Apple, the account ID they give us (we don’t receive or store your password, contacts or profile photo); if you use email and password, a bcrypt hash of your password (never the password itself). We also keep your reports, their review status, a trust score calculated from them, and short-lived records of sign-in attempts to protect against password guessing.

Fertilizer reports: product, price per tonne, county or RM, month, delivered or picked up, pre-buy or spot, and a volume range.

Usage: Vercel Web Analytics counts visits without cookies. We also count page views per page and day (no personal data) to show contributors how many farmers their reports reached.

How it’s used

Only to publish anonymous price statistics, to check reports for accuracy and abuse, and to send account emails you ask for (confirmation and password reset). We don’t sell or share personal data, and we don’t run advertising.

Your choices

Change your nickname or leave the leaderboard anytime on your account page. You can delete your account there too: choose to keep your past reports as fully anonymous data (no link to any account), or erase them. Deletion is immediate and permanent.

Where data lives

The site runs on Vercel and the database on Neon (Postgres). Account email is sent through Postmark.
